Thriller Night at the Queens

“And though you fight to stay alive…

Your body starts to shiver.

For no mere mortal can resist…

The evil of the Thriller.”

Last night the Queens Hookah Bar and Lounge opened with a kickin’ party. Several people were present to experience the event, which included themed drinks, banging music, and fall-themed decorations! During the evening this reporter noticed that not only was the bar’s upper level well suited for blasting tunes and lyrical stylings, but also showed panoramic views of the city and several private tables for more grown-up-friendly encounters. It’s definitely not a spot to be passed up. The styling is somewhat dark but illuminated by jewel tone accents and a few neon signs, which gives it a bit of a retro, yet mellow feel. The evening concluded with a Thriller themed dance-off, as well as best costumed trophies awarded to the top three. They were:

3rd Reagan McNamara

2nd Skye Carson

1st Antonella Castillo as a Red Devil.

Congratulations! And here’s hoping we see all sorts of events at Queens on Maeha Ave. in the future.
